The Gospel of Luke is a carefully crafted narrative that highlights Jesus’ mission of renewal. Written by Luke, a physician and historian, this Gospel paints a vivid portrait of Jesus as the compassionate Savior who enters the brokenness of humanity and brings restoration. Luke’s account emphasizes Jesus’ encounters with the marginalized and offers hope to those who feel forgotten and shows that no life is beyond the reach of grace.
We will journey through these powerful encounters, witnessing how Jesus gathers the shattered fragments of people’s lives and reshapes them into something beautiful. From the woman who wept at His feet to the tax collector hiding in a tree, each story reveals the heart of God to redeem and restore. Like an artist creating a mosaic, Jesus takes the broken pieces and fits them together, forming a masterpiece that displays His love and mercy.
Luke’s Gospel reminds us that transformation is not just about fixing what’s broken, it’s about making something new. Jesus doesn’t merely mend lives; He redefines them. Through these stories, we’ll discover that the same Savior who healed, forgave, and restored in Luke’s time is still working today. Whether our lives feel shattered or incomplete, God is ready to create something beautiful out of our brokenness.
For the next fourteen weeks, we will study Luke through The Daily, in our Groups, and at our Gatherings.
