Unhindered Uncomfortability

Joey Tomassoni

Modern life and Western Civilization offers us physical comforts as an amazing gift, but an antagonizing god. Of all the cultural currents that undertow our lives there may be none more subtle but deadly.

As Luke closes his narrative (Acts 21-28), we find the apostle Paul being arrested, attacked, humiliated, doubted, shipwrecked, snake-bitten, chained, rejected, awaiting trial and death.

We think that alleviated hardship affords comfort (i.e., If this hard thing wasn’t happening to me I would be ok, comfortable). Yet in a moment of severe hardship, and tremendous uncomfortability, Paul is found at peace, unhindered.

Join us as Joey walks us through Paul's journey in the final chapters of Acts to discover a better comfort that only Jesus Christ provides in the most uncomfortable of circumstances.
